Expected Outputs

KASA has set out five main projected outputs to achieve its purpose.

Output One
To organize and make available results of three Civil Society forums promoting sustainability and the rights of women and other vulnerable groups in NRE governance and present it to at least 100 stakeholders, including government and media.

Output Two
To identify at least twenty Civil Society groups, ten media and four research representatives who have demonstrated the capacity to effectively advocate for equitable NRE governance.

Output Three
Provide funding to ten key CS organizations and to ensure that they utilize the core funding to become more effective advocates for equitable NRE governance.

Output Four
Elect fifteen to twenty CS groups, research, or media organizations, who will use small grants to advocate for equitable NRE governance initiatives, including one State of the Environment report and one youth-driven environmental-awareness media production.

Lessons learned inform the long-term civil society advocacy mechanism for equitable natural resource and environmental governance
