Kasa serves as a coordinating body for advocacy, knowledge sharing, capacity building, and collaborative action on environmental sustainability, climate change, land governance, water governance, mining, forestry, fisheries, and other critical natural resource issues.

KASA Initiative Ghana was established in 2008 by CARE, SNV and ICCO to create a unified platform for civil society engagement in natural resource and environmental governance. Over the years, KASA has grown into a nationally recognized platform supporting advocacy, policy dialogue, community empowerment, and knowledge sharing across Ghana.
